Frequently Asked Questions

Do you only work on high-end vehicles?
With so many verticals our coatings can be applied to, we work on almost ANYTHING and EVERYTHING. We focus mainly in the Automotive arena - Antiques, Classics, Daily Drivers, Luxury Sports Cars, Exotics, Off-road vehicles, and Unique Custom Builds, however we also work with Marine, Industrial, Aviation, and Residential.
Can you provide a quote online or over the phone?
We can only provide an “estimate” based on year, make, and model from any pictures or videos you submit. The BEST way to get the most accurate quote is to stop by the shop for an in-person assessment.
Do you offer any concierge service?
Pickup and drop-off services are available for an extra fee via enclosed trailer for a flat rate of $300 under 25 miles and $xxx each mile after. Please contact us if you are in close proximity to our location.
How long does it usually take for a paint correction and ceramic coating?
1-3 days on average for completion, however each vehicle is different and some may require more or less time.

Where are you located?
Our facility is located in Drew Park in Tampa, Florida off Air Cargo Road next to Tampa International Airport and close to the George M. Steinbrenner Field and Raymond James Stadium. Our physical address is 4625 N. Manhattan Ave Suite B.
How long does a Ceramic Coating last?
There are many variables that affect the degradation of a ceramic coating, however a realistic expectation is 2.5 years if a vehicle is daily driven and sits out in the sun everyday. If a vehicle is properly maintained and cared for, in addition to being garage kept, it will see 5+ years easily. Anything beyond that in Florida weather will absolutely need a refresh or reapplication.
Can I drive my vehicle through an automatic car wash now that it has a Protective Ceramic Coating?
We would highly advise against taking your vehicle through any automatic car wash as this tends to be the root of why most cars have severe scratches, swirls, and other defects within the clear coat. Hand Washing with PH Neutral Shampoo and a microfiber mitt along with microfiber drying towels is the safest and most efficient method.
Do I still need to wax or use any detailing products over my Ceramic Coated vehicle?
You will not need to use any other products beyond washing and drying your vehicle, however any topping agent you wish to apply (such as wax, detail spray, or silica sealant) is supplemental and will not harm or compromise your existing Ceramic Coating.

What products should I avoid using?
Many detailing products are safe (Ceramic Friendly and PH Neutral), however we advise against using anything acidic which can be used as a stripping agent- such as strong bug removers or wheel acid to clean dirty wheels. In theory, this helps break down deposits quicker, however it also compromises the hydrophobic effect, which is very important in allowing water to bead off effortlessly and keep the surfaces of your vehicle cleaner for longer.
Does a Ceramic Coating prevent future swirls, scratches, or hard water marks?
No, this sacrificial layer creates a super durable and resistant layer of protection against future swirls, light scratches, and other blemishes, however proper maintenance and upkeep is vital to help avoid future imperfections.
How long does Paint Protection Film (PPF) last?
It has a 10-year warranty to help protect against rock chips, road debris, and other abrasion and will not discolor as found in some earlier products from years ago in its infancy stage.
Can you apply Ceramic Coating over Paint Protection Film (PPF)?
Yes, this combination is the Best of Both Worlds and offers the Ultimate Protection against the elements. The most common request is Full Frontal PPF (hood, front bumper, front fenders, headlights, and side mirrors) paired with Full Exterior Ceramic Coatings (body, windows, trim, wheels-off + calipers ceramic treatment).

What is the difference between normal tint and Ceramic IR Tint?
Standard tint is typically a customizable feature which usually only “darkens” the windows or offers a metallic mirror-like effect for aesthetic purposes, while Ceramic IR Tint offers UV and Heat Rejection and can be offered in clear or darker shades depending on preference. Our Top of the Line offering (XPEL Prime XR Plus) provides SPF 1,000 Protection that effectively blocks over 99% of Harmful UV Rays and 98% of Infrared Heat that can lead to numerous skin cancers, premature aging, and skin cell damage.
How often do I need to wash my car after I get a Ceramic Coating?
We recommend washing your vehicle weekly, however if you are unable to take care of it beyond that point, we advise at least removing any acidic bug etchings or bird droppings from damaging your paint.
When will I need to bring it in for a Refresh?
There are many variables which come into play when figuring out how often you should bring your vehicle in to keep it looking its best, however we recommend brining it in periodically (ex: 6-12 months) for an assessment and refresh. A Refresh may include a wash and decontamination with silica sealant applied afterwards or a one-step polish and silica sealant.
This is my only vehicle. Can I request a one-day turnaround?
Yes, we understand how important it is to provide a quick turnaround for some people. We offer same-day service which allows you to drop off the vehicle in the morning and pick it up in the evening at the end of day.
